God commands all people everywhere to repent (Acts 17:30). Repentance is the first command in the preaching ministry of Jesus, and it is the punchline of the apostles’ sermons in the book of Acts. Yet repentance is often overlooked or misunderstood, and we believe that every junior high and high school student needs to properly understand and earnestly carry out biblical repentance. Pastor Mike Fabarez (Compass Aliso Viejo) will be preaching four sermons to help our students genuinely turn from their sins and begin patterns of practical righteousness from the heart.

JUNIOR HIGH AND HIGH SCHOOL MINISTRY

Our mission is simple: we want to reach the Junior High and High School students of Orange County with the gospel. Compass Student Ministry is committed to teaching students how to love God, love the church, and love the lost (“Upward, Inward, Outward”). We are committed to teaching God’s word faithfully so that students can know God and be better equipped to take on this world with the power of the gospel. We yearn to see students grow in spiritual maturity as they are increasingly “conformed to the image of his Son” (Rom. 8:29). Lastly, we have trained leaders who are prepared to invest in the lives of these students and are committed to lead by example and so demonstrate the love of Christ.
